How To Evaluate Candidates

Evaluate a candidate and recommend him/her to be moved forward through the stages or to get disqualified from the selection process.

Updated over 2 years ago

After you review candidates and their applications, you can make your evaluation for the stage they are currently in. You can also view evaluations made by other colleagues, for that candidate.
To evaluate a candidate, from the main Track window, click on the stage where that candidate is located.

From the list of candidates in that stage, click on the one you wish to evaluate to open the candidate information window.

Click on the Evaluation icon (thumbs up, thumbs down) to open the Edit evaluation window.

Here you can write down your overall impressions and recommendation and give your final “score” for a candidate in this stage.

NOTE: If you have added a scorecard to this stage, it will also be available for evaluation when evaluating this candidate, as shown in the image below.

After you save your evaluation, it will be visible on the activity feed for that candidate and the evaluation icon will appear next to that candidate’s name.

If you hover over the evaluation icon, you can see the total number of evaluations for that application at this stage. If the application wasn’t evaluated in this stage but was in the previous stage, the icon will be greyed out and you will get a message.

To view all evaluations (yours and by other colleagues) for this candidate, regardless of the stage, select the Evaluations tab and click on the eye icon.

NOTE: You can edit your evaluations (the pen icon) or delete them (trash bin icon) in the Activities section, as shown in the image below.
