To help you stay on top of your recruitment process, you can now track when a candidate stays too long in a pipeline stage.
What are Time Limits?
Time Limits are internal thresholds you define at the pipeline template level, indicating how long an application can remain in a specific stage.
Once this limit is exceeded, a "Waiting Too Long" message will appear on the candidate's application. This helps you identify bottlenecks early and keep things moving.
You can also use automated actions that will trigger after the set time limit is reached.
How to Set Time Limits
You can customize the time limit for each stage of your pipeline templates.
Please note that the option to customize your Time Limits will only be available to users who have the Automation add-on feature or are on the Growth or Enterprise plans. The default time limit will be two weeks for each stage.
Go to your Job pipeline template settings
Select the stage you want to customize and click on the Edit icon
Click on Actions to define your Time Limit for that stage, and also add automated actions that will be triggered when the Time Limit is reached.
Save your changes.
You can repeat this for each stage you want to define a different time limit from the default one and add automated actions. Time Limits are fully customizable for each stage and pipeline, so you can tailor them to your team’s workflow.
Waited Too Long Indicator and Application Sorting Within a Stage
For candidates who have been waiting too long in a stage, you will have an indicator next to their name letting you know that, with their application, you have broken the time limit set for the stage.
You can hover your mouse cursor over the indicator to see when were they moved to that stage.
You can also sort them within a stage by the Longest waiting time or the Shortest waiting time in that stage.
That way, you can maybe prioritize those candidates who are waiting longer.
