With the integration of your TalentLyft and BambooHR accounts, you will be able to seamlessly export candidates from the TalentLyft account and import them as employees to your BambooHR account.
This article will show you how to integrate your TalentLyft account with your BambooHR account and how this integration works.
Integrating your Talentlyft and BambooHR accounts
The integration process is pretty simple, just follow these steps.
Login to your TalentLyft account
Go to Profile - Integrations.
In Integrations, click on the BambooHR Settings button.
A new window will open where you will be asked to add the subdomain of your BambooHR account. There is also an option to enable Auto-export. If the Auto-export option is enabled, candidates will automatically be exported to your BambooHR account when they are moved to the Hired stage of the job.
Click Connect account, and you've finished the integration process.
NOTE: The subdomain is visible in the URL field in your browser once you log into your BambooHR account. Only the part before bamboohr.com is your subdomain.
Once done, you will see a Connected status above the BambooHR integration.
How does it work?
There are two ways candidates can be exported to BambooHR.
Manually – if you didn't enable the Auto-export option when candidates reach the Hired stage in TalentLyft, you can manually export them to BambooHR.
Automatically – if you enabled the Auto-export option when a candidate reaches the Hired stage, they will be automatically exported to BambooHR.
Exported candidates will be located under the People section of BambooHR, and the following candidate information will also be exported to BambooHR.
Candidate's contact email and phone number.
The job they are hired for.
Under which department was that job crated in TalentLyft.
The date when they got hired, were moved to BambooHR.
Links to their social networks (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
You can check the integration with TalentLyft in BambooHR as well.
Click on your profile picture and go to API Keys.
If you want to disconnect the integration between TalentLyft and BambooHR, you can do so in the integrations settings.
A new window will appear, where you will have the option to disconnect the account.
