With the integration of your TalentLyft and Sage HR accounts, you will be able to export candidates from the TalentLyft account seamlessly and import them as employees to your Sage HR account.
This article will show you how to integrate your TalentLyft account with your Sage HR account and how this integration works.
Integrating your TalentLyft and Sage HR accounts
The integration process is pretty simple; just follow these steps.
Login to your TalentLyft account
Go to Profile - Integrations
In Integrations, click on the Sage HR Settings button.
A new window will open where you will be asked to connect your TalentLyft account with your Sage HR account. There is also the option to enable Auto-export. If the Auto-export option is enabled, candidates will automatically be exported to your Sage HR account when they are moved to the Hired stage of the job.
Click Connect account, and you will be asked to enter your Sage HR credentials and your Sage HR subdomain.
NOTE: The subdomain is visible in the URL field in your browser when you log into your Sage HR account. Only the part before the sage.hr is your subdomain.
Next, you will be asked to give your Sage HR API Key. You can find the Sage HR API Key by following these steps:
In your Sage HR account, click on your name in the upper right section and go into the Settings page.
On the Settings page, go to Integrations and click on the API option.
In the API options, enable API access.
Once the API Access has been enabled, you will receive your API key. Please copy and paste it into the Sage HR Integrations window in TalentLyft.
Once you've entered your API key, you will get a confirmation message that you've successfully integrated TalentLyft with Sage HR.
How does it work?
There are two ways candidates can be exported to Sage HR.
Manually – if you didn't enable the Auto-export option when candidates reach the Hired stage in TalentLyft, you can manually export them to Sage HR.
Automatically – if you enabled the Auto-export option, when a candidate reaches the Hired stage, they will be automatically exported to Sage HR.
Exported candidates will be located under the Company section of Sage HR, and the following candidate information will also be exported to Sage HR.
Candidate's contact email and phone number.
The date when they got hired, was moved to Sage HR.
If you want to disconnect the integration between TalentLyft and Sage HR, you can do so in the integrations settings.
