Understanding the Different Offer and eDocument Statuses

Keep track of your eSignature documents and offers by understanding the different status types

Updated over 8 months ago

After you start using the eSignature feature, you will set up and send your documents to candidates for their signatures.

As you will be sending them, both documents and offer letters will change statuses depending on which step are they currently in before they are eventually signed by the candidate.

The main difference is that offer letters can only be sent from the Offer type stage, while documents from all available stages of your pipeline.
Documents are best used for signing additional documents like NDAs or WorkPermits or other standard documents that candidates sign and that are not job offers.

πŸ’‘Offer letters can also be sent for approval before they are sent to candidates and you can customize the approval workflow for each sent offer.
