Importing your candidate data in bulk refers to the process of transferring large sets of data into TalentLyft's database in a single operation, rather than inputting information manually or in small batches.
One of the main advantages of bulk data importing is time efficiency. Manually entering data can be incredibly time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when dealing with large datasets. Bulk importing automates this process, significantly reducing the time spent on data entry.
Good to know before importing
Amount of columns and lines inside your CSV document is limited to 100. Make sure that your document doesn't have more than 100 columns or lines. You can do the import as many times as you need.

first name
last name
summary
title
company
date created
address
e-mail address
phone number
NOTE: first name, last name, and e-mail address are obligatory when importing candidates. These three columns are suggested to be separate in your CSV document that you want to import.
How to upload the CSV document with relevant data
Click on your Candidates dashboard, then select the white plus icon in a red circle and from the drop-down menu, choose "Import CSV".
Once you have chosen the option to Import CSV, a window to upload your document will appear, select "Choose file".
After the document is uploaded, you will see a window with three different columns :
1. Column header - refers to the columns in your uploaded document
2. Preview Information - shows data inside of each column in your uploaded document
3. Import as - this is where you choose how you want information from each column to be imported as
NOTE: the data will be imported into your candidate's database. Currently, candidates can't be added to a Job or a Pool in bulk.
